Welcome to ainomaly.io (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our AI-powered anomaly detection services for Excel, CSV, and PDF files.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Offered

We provide:

  • AI-powered file analysis for anomaly detection
  • AI chat assistant for data analysis and insights
  • Support for Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV, and PDF files
  • Detailed anomaly reports and insights
  • Free tier: 10 pages on signup (one-time bonus)
  • Usage-based billing and subscription plans
  • API access for automation and integration
  • Team collaboration features for organizations
  • Data export and GDPR compliance tools

3. Usage Rights and Restrictions

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use our services for:

  • Analyzing your own files or files you have permission to analyze
  • Business and personal data validation
  • Quality assurance and error detection
  • Any lawful purpose

3.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Upload files containing illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer our algorithms
  • Overload our systems with automated requests
  • Share account credentials
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload files you don’t have rights to analyze

4. Service Limitations

  • Service availability may vary and is provided “as is”
  • Analysis accuracy is not guaranteed to be 100%
  • Rate limiting may apply during heavy usage
  • We reserve the right to impose usage limits
  • Maintenance windows will be announced in advance

5. Billing and Payment

5.1 Free Tier

  • 10 pages granted on signup (one-time bonus)
  • Payment method may be required to prevent abuse
  • Additional pages available for purchase

5.2 Paid Plans

  • Usage-based billing or monthly subscriptions
  • AI model usage tracked and billed separately
  • Processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Billing based on actual usage (tokens, pages, API calls)
  • Overage charges apply when exceeding plan limits

5.3 Usage Metrics

  • Document pages: PDF pages, Excel rows, CSV/text size
  • AI tokens: Input and output tokens for chat and analysis
  • API calls: Rate-limited based on subscription tier
  • Storage: Analysis results and export files
  • Detailed usage tracking available in your dashboard

6. Data and Privacy

  • Zero file retention: Files are deleted immediately after analysis
  • We only store analysis results, not raw file content

  • You retain all rights to your data
  • We claim no ownership of uploaded files

7. Liability and Disclaimers

7.1 Service Disclaimer

  • Service provided “AS IS” without warranties
  • We don’t guarantee 100% anomaly detection
  • Not responsible for decisions based on our analysis
  • Not a replacement for professional auditing

7.2 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months or €100, whichever is lower.

7.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

8. Account Management

  • You’re responsible for account security
  • One account per person/organization
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • We may suspend accounts violating these terms
  • Account sharing is prohibited

9. Intellectual Property

  • Our service, algorithms, and branding remain our property
  • You retain ownership of your uploaded files
  • Analysis results may be used to improve our service (anonymized)
  • You grant us license to process files for service delivery

10. Termination

10.1 By You

  • Cancel subscription anytime
  • Service remains active until end of paid period
  • No refunds for unused time

10.2 By Us

  • We may terminate for Terms violations
  • Immediate termination for severe violations
  • 30 days notice for business reasons

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in German courts.

13. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, other provisions remain valid.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the service.
