Software Usage Agreement

1. Software Components

This agreement covers the use of:

  • Web-based anomaly detection application
  • AI-powered chat assistant and analysis engine
  • File upload and processing interface
  • API endpoints for integration and automation
  • Analysis reports and export features
  • Team collaboration and organization management
  • Usage tracking and billing dashboard
  • GDPR compliance tools (data export, deletion)

2. File Processing Terms

2.1 Upload Requirements

  • Supported formats: Excel (.xlsx, .xls), CSV, PDF
  • Maximum file size: 50MB per file
  • Files must not contain malware or malicious code
  • You must have rights to analyze uploaded files

2.2 Processing Terms

  • Files are processed in memory only
  • Zero retention policy: Files deleted immediately after analysis
  • Processing typically completes within 10 seconds per page
  • Large files may take longer to process

3. Usage Terms

3.1 Authorized Use

You may use the software for:

  • Detecting anomalies in business data
  • AI-powered data analysis and insights
  • Quality assurance and validation
  • Financial reconciliation
  • Data integrity checks
  • Team collaboration on data analysis
  • API integration with your systems
  • Any lawful business or personal purpose

3.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer the software
  • Bypass usage limits or security measures
  • Use automated scripts without API access
  • Process files containing illegal content
  • Resell or sublicense the service
  • Interfere with other users’ access

4. Security Requirements

4.1 Your Obligations

  • Maintain secure account credentials
  • Use strong, unique passwords
  • Report security concerns immediately
  • Not share API keys or access tokens
  • Ensure uploaded files are virus-free

4.2 Our Commitments

  • HTTPS encryption for all connections
  • Secure processing environment
  • Regular security updates
  • Immediate file deletion after processing
  • No permanent storage of your data

5. Service Level Expectations

5.1 Availability

  • Service provided “as is” without uptime guarantee
  • Planned maintenance announced 24 hours in advance
  • Best effort support during business hours
  • Service may be rate-limited during peak usage

5.2 Processing Accuracy

  • AI-powered detection with high accuracy
  • Not guaranteed to find 100% of anomalies
  • Results should be reviewed by humans
  • Not a replacement for professional auditing

6. API Usage (Paid Plans)

  • RESTful API endpoints for authentication and analysis
  • Support for file upload and processing via API
  • User profile and settings management endpoints
  • Rate limits apply based on subscription tier
  • API keys and bearer tokens must be kept secure

6.2 API Restrictions

  • No scraping or bulk downloading
  • Respect rate limits
  • Cache results appropriately
  • Report API issues promptly

7. Liability and Warranties

7.1 Disclaimer

  • Software provided “AS IS” without warranty
  • No guarantee of specific results
  • You’re responsible for decisions based on analysis
  • We’re not liable for missed anomalies

7.2 Your Responsibility

  • Review all analysis results
  • Maintain backups of important files
  • Verify critical findings independently
  • Comply with applicable laws

8. Updates and Modifications

8.1 Software Updates

  • We may update features at any time
  • Major changes announced in advance
  • Continued use implies acceptance
  • API versioning for breaking changes

8.2 Agreement Updates

  • Terms may be updated periodically
  • Notification via email for material changes
  • 30 days notice for significant changes

9. Data Processing

9.1 Processing Location

  • Processing occurs on EU-based servers
  • No data leaves the processing environment
  • Compliant with GDPR requirements

9.2 Results Storage

  • Analysis results stored in your account
  • You can delete results anytime
  • Results used to improve service (anonymized)

9.3 Usage and Billing

  • Free tier: 10 pages on signup (one-time bonus)
  • Usage-based billing for AI model consumption
  • Token tracking for chat and analysis features
  • Detailed usage metrics in dashboard
  • Monthly billing cycles for subscriptions
  • Overage charges for exceeding plan limits

10. Termination

  • Either party may terminate at any time
  • Upon cancellation, service remains active until end of paid period
  • No refunds for unused time

11. Intellectual Property

  • Software remains our property
  • You retain rights to your uploaded files
  • Analysis methodology is proprietary
  • Results belong to you

12. Support

  • Email support available
  • Response within 2 business days
  • Community forum for peer support
  • Documentation and FAQ available

13. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by EU and German law.
